SAS Camp

SAS has been a work-horse for researchers in Accounting and Finance for decades because of its straightforward syntax, its ability to handle large datasets, and its integration with data providers like WRDS. This course is designed to get you quickly up-to-speed on how SAS is used by current researchers in the field.

The course assumes that you have no prior experience programming in SAS. It begins with skills such as creating and managing data. It then moves on to more advanced topics such as writing SQL statements, creating and running MACROs, and estimating statistically analyses like regression.

By the end of the course, you will also all of the foundational skills need to begin replicating published papers and conducting your own original research.
