Meet the Accounting Coding Camp Team
The Accounting Coding Camp is taught by a team of experienced professors: Mike Drake, Josh Lee, and Jake Thornock. This team has published many articles in the top academic journals, including JAR, JAE, TAR, CAR, RAST, JF, JFE and MS.
Content & Materials
The AI Enhanced Research course covers advanced programming skills in Python needed to conduct machine learning empirical research. The course also provides an overview of how to use ChatGPT to increase your coding speed and efficiency, and also provides an in depth discussion of PyCharm and Visual Studio Code, two of the most popular integrated development environments for Python. Students will be able to download all of the programs used in the course, including all of the solution and replication code.
Format
The Accounting Coding Camp is conducted entirely online and consists of a series of asynchronous videos and exercises. This format provides students with maximum flexibility around the timing and pace of their learning experience. Students will have access to the material for one-year starting on their enrollment date.
Cost
The AI Enhanced Research (Advance Python) course costs $500 per participant. A full Python course including introductory, intermediate, and advanced material is available for $1,500 per participant. A SAS/STATA-only subscription is available for $750 per participant. A full course including all Python, SAS, and Stata content is available for $2,000 per participant. Each subscription is for one-year of access.
