Stata Camp

Creating regression output tables is a major part of the research process. Stata makes this part of the process a breeze. With Stata's built-in outreg2 function, you can easily create beautifully-formatted Excel regression output tables.

The Accounting Coding Camp curriculum is designed to follow the research process that we, as researchers, typically undertake. We use SAS or Python to create, merge and clean data, create variables, and prepare data for regression analysis. We then export the data to Stata to run our regression analyses and create output tables.

This Stata mini camp will get you quickly up-to-speed on the basics of the Stata environment. You will then learn how to estimate regressions and how to create and format regression output tables.
